Sailing Coach

An Army officer with a Master’s degree in Leadership of People and Organizations from the Portuguese Military Academy. Passionate about the sea and sailing, he is a diving instructor certified by PADI and SSI, an Yachtmaster Offshore, and a sailing coach certified by the Portuguese Sailing Federation.

University Professor in Geosciences at U.Lisboa. Sailing has been a passion since childhood, a dream that only became a reality 4 years ago. Combining sailing practice with teaching at SailingCapt is a personal achievement that is exceeding all expectations. Coastal Skipper by RYA, at West Coast, with experience in cruising sailing and a practitioner of dinghy sailing at Oeiras Sailing.

Sailing Coach

After more than 20 years away from sailing, I found my way back to the water. Since then, I’ve earned my skipper’s licence (RYA DaySkipper) and am a sailing coach accredited by the Portuguese Sailing Federation.. I speak four languages and love teaching beginners—especially women—build confidence, develop their skills and make sailing a regular part of their lives.
